To ensure that the right product URL is linked following redirection, you will need to edit the theme of your website. From the Themes tab, find Actions and Edit Code. Within this, you should find the snippets folder and click on the product grid item.liquid to edit.

If, in your new structure of a domain, you are wanting to get rid of some pages, then you will need to make sure to redirect customers to the most relevant pages that you are taking with you.
